Spooktacular Fall

 Maren:

Fall is around the corner, school is back in and we are working out a routine. I decided that I didn't want to Ninja Kour this year and instead wanted to spend more time at the ranch riding.  I am now "sponsoring" a horse which means that I get to go ride once a week just for fun.  I enjoy the extra time there to spend with the horses and my friends.  Since I can't ride the bus there after school it's a little more work for mommy, daddy, and nonna but so far we are figuring it out.  

For Halloween this year I really wanted to paint Jolene like a skeleton again because it was such an amazing costume for her.  To match her I decided to have a costume like a character in the Disney movie Coco (which is about the "Diaz de Los Muertos").  Mommy painted my face and I took Jo with us Trick or Treating.  We got tons of compliments on our matching costumes!  My good friend Persephone (I ride with her at the ranch) came out with us that night too. 

Maddox: 

This month I got to go on my first real school organized field trip!  I was so excited!  We all got to ride the bus to a local farm and pumpkin patch.  Unfortunately only the teachers were able to go and parents couldn't attend (Covid rules) but we still had a great time playing in the pumpkin patch and corn field. 

For Halloween I decided to be... a police officer!  Daddy had to work but mommy dressed up like a robber so I could have a partner like Maren!  We had a great time walking around Nonnas neighborhood and got tons of candy!
