Marching toward Spring

Maren:

This has been a pretty quiet month for us with a lot of nice long weekends at home.  One weekend I had a riding show at the ranch and got to ride/demonstrate my skills in two different dressage tests.  Sonja will occasionally host informal shows at her ranch to give riders a chance to experience it before a really big show where they might be more nervous.  I rode A.J. for my first ride and Phoenix for my second and had a lot of fun.

Our long weekends at home have given us lots of time for family.  Pica came up for a nice long visit during spring break and we really enjoyed having him.  Unfortunately, mommy had to work most of the time while he was here but he hung out with us and daddy until she got home.  It was really nice to have him here for 5 whole days.

Maddox:

Like sissy said, this has been a quite month for us.  Since mommy had to work all of our spring break we didn't get to go anywhere but Pica came to visit us for most of it.  Being home and quiet has also given us lots of time to finish projects at the house and daddy was able to build us really nice steps for the fort which means our dogs can go hang out up there with us!

Daddy and mommy signed us up for baseball and softball this year and practices started right at the tail end of spring break.  I am on a coach pitch team called the Water Boys and sissy is on a softball team called the Apple Blossoms.  Games will start in April!  Stay tuned for the action!
