March is here and we are all anxious for summer to come. Spring is in the air and we are ready for adventure even though life has been a bit hectic for mommy and daddy. Mommy has decided to buy the practice that she works at so a lot of her spare time has been spent focusing on the purchase. Daddy has been helping her a lot too. I guess there is a lot to talk about with this whole thing because that's all they seem to talk about when they are together. Sounds like it will really be a good thing for our family if it actually goes through.
We all can't wait for some summer fun so mommy and daddy decided to take us out for the first camping trip of the year. It is still a bit wet and cold out but we packed up the camper for a weekend at Indian Mary Park. It has become one of our new favorites because of the close proximity to home. We can literally be there in about 20-30 minutes after pulling out of our driveway! We had a great time riding around the camp on our bikes, playing on the playground and trying our hand at fishing. A couple of families were camped right next to us and before you knew it we were playing like old friends. We had some great bow and arrow shooting contests and even tried our hands at calling the turkeys up on the hill. We would gobble like crazy and the silly birds would gobble right back!
Maddox:
My best buddy Wyatt turned 5 this month... his birthday is on Saint Patrick's Day, and we got to help him celebrate. We had dinner with him and his whole family the actual night of his birthday but we also got to go to his birthday party a few days later. He had a rock-n-roll themed party and we all dressed up. I picked out my own outfit for the party, though I'm not sure I actually know what a rock-n-roll star looks like, I did my best. Mommy colored and spiked my hair up and ratted sissy's up good too. Sissy looked like a great 80's rocker, or at least that's what mommy said, and we had a great time at the party. We danced to great music and ate chicken and waffles... which was Wyatt's pick and something new for us to try.
On March 29th mommy and daddy had a big appointment. On that day they signed the papers for the purchase of Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital. Mommy is now the owner of the practice and they had a big date night after to celebrate!! Congrats Mommy!!
