Maren:
Summer is officially over with the start of school. Thankfully they have decided we can go back to school in person this year which I am really happy about. We do have to wear masks in school which is kind of a pain, but I would much rather do that than stay home in front of a computer again! For the first day of school I wore a matching outfit with my best buddy Amelia! We both looked beautiful! I am really looking forward to this year ahead because I have an amazing teacher and some really good friends in the program. As you can see on my board, I am back at wanting to be a veterinarian when I grow up!
At the end of the month we took the camper out for our last run of the season. We camped at a new spot up at Union Creek which was really nice. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were up there but we were still able to get out between the showers, and sometimes during the showers, for some bike riding and hikes. We also did some fishing with daddy along the creek which was really fun. Mommy came along too so that there were two people to help untangle lines and rebait our hooks. We caught quite a few little brook trout and had lots of fun.

School is back in session and this is the real deal! Since I did kindergarten in front of a computer this will be my first run at school how it should be. I am super excited to go so I can see my best friend Chase every day and I know that I will meet lots of new friends too. When I grow up I want to be a Fireman just like my daddy is!
One day when I came home from school I proudly pulled some tater tots out of my pocket to show mommy! I informed her that I got full at lunch and just decided to keep them in my pocket in case I got hungry later. She thought I was pretty funny!
One night we got to have dinner out at a restaurant. I was adamant that we go someplace that had hamburgers. Later that night this is what I had to say in my prayers... "Thank you God that we got to have dinner out tonight at a real restaurant and thank you for giving me my favorite food, hamburgers. I promise I will never eat a hot dog again!"
