Another great week

I got to spend another great week with family this week and we did all kinds of fun stuff. My Nonna and Nono came back from a few days at the coast and brought me a special present... My very own umbrella! My Nonna knows how very much I love the color orange and she picked the perfect one for me. 

My mommy, Nonna, and Aunt C (I've taken to calling her My See-Seesh) got to have a girls night out. They got dressed up and went to dinner which meant I got to spend the evening with my daddy and Nono.  I also got to go on a special outing with my See-Seesh and Nono while my mommy got her hair done. They took me to the park and we had lots of fun playing and looking at the ducks. 

The last night that everyone was here we got to celebrate my Nono's birthday. I helped mommy make a cake... But even better was when I got to help blow out the candles and share Nono's piece of cake!!! 

The house is pretty quiet now that everyone is gone. I miss them all a lot and I take turns trying to call all of them on my kitchen phone. Mommy got sick after everyone left so I have been trying to help out as much as possible. I helped with laundry and even tried to make my own snack (mommy caught me in the pantry sitting on my stool eating handfuls of dry oatmeal!  She laughed so hard she forgot to get the camera). 

Family, family, and more family!!

What a great week this last week was! On Tuesday my Nonna and Nono came to visit. I had one great day with them and the following day my Auntie C showed up! I think they are my two most favorite people in the world (other than my mommy and daddy of course) so I have been absolutely having a blast! We spent a lot of time baking, playing dress up (Auntie C brought me a super spooky outfit), and just being goofy. After a few days of fun my Nonna and my Nono left so that my mommy, Auntie C, and I could spend some quality time with my Pica and Grammie. 

They got here on Friday and spent the whole weekend with us. I really had fun with all of their doggies (they have three pugs!) but I loved Pooh doggie the most.  My Pica taught me how to play the guitar (I was really good at it) and he sang us some really great songs.  My mommy and Auntie C knew all the songs he sang and would sing along with him too. We also got to build a great big bonfire and had a barbecue. My daddy made some really amazing chicken and I had my first experience eating it off the bone! 

My Pica and Grammie had to leave today but my Nonna and Nono came back! We have a few more days of fun ahead of us before my Auntie C has to go back home. 

Time for Love!

Next week is a very special week. Valentines Day is coming and so are a lot of special people!  Nonna and Nono, Auntie C, Pica, and Grammie are all coming to visit me!  My Auntie C will be here for a whole week! We are going to have so much fun! 

I have been helping mommy around the house a lot to get ready for our company. We have been making special valentines for every one and doing lots of cooking and cleaning. 

I got to go to a fun birthday party this weekend too. My friend Garrett turned 2 and had a "Tumble Party". I had so much fun playing on the trampolines and in the foam pit.  Mommy had a hard time dragging me out of there to get me to come home. Maybe I can sign up for gymnastics soon!  

This weekend we have just relaxed at home so mommy can get all of her chores done. I spent lots of time reading with my baby and just being super cute.... Like always!

A sweet spirit

This morning while we were getting ready for church I kept finding ways to show mommy how very sweet I am. While she was busy cooking me breakfast and doing dishes I would call to get her attention... When she would look I would show her some of the many ways I can be sweet, like petting the cat softly, giving the doggie kisses while she slept, rocking my baby in front of the warm fire, and mommy's favorite... Blowing kisses from across the room. I guess she is right, I do have a sweet, sweet spirit! 

A pain in the knee

I have had a super fun week this week but it has also been a bit crazy. Mommy and daddy are busy as always working but they manage to make every day fun and special in some way for me.  

I had a rough couple of days early on this week where I was really having bad knee pain. I could barely walk and I cried a lot when mommy or daddy would touch or move my right leg. Mommy got really worried when I also started getting a rash all over my body but the doctor said I was okay. I was a bit scared of the doctor but on my way home I kept saying "Doctie help knee mama"!

We got the "hot pool" up and running again and I have been having a lot of fun in it. I am getting really confident and comfortable about jumping in and going completely underwater. I get to swim in the pool naked! 

Mommy and I spent a day with my good friend Jace and his mommy this weekend. Jace and I played while our mommies worked on their scrapbooks... We played peek-a-boo, did a bit of fighting, and took turns driving a fun car that Jace has!
