Fall is in the air... is Christmas almost here?

Maren:
Once we got in the groove with school mommy got us enrolled back at Motion Matrix and me signed up for Ninja Kour.  I have really missed it and was so excited to go again!  I was even more excited to see that my old coach Jade was back.
Fall has brought us some beautiful days with warm, crisp afternoons.  We have yet to have any rain so the ground is still dry.  Sonja surprised me one day with a trail ride and then a week later invited me to go again with her and a friend.  I really enjoyed both rides and felt so proud that I was able to go out of the arena.
Mommy met a really neat lady at her clinic a few weeks ago that raises Livestock Guardian Dogs like Lola.  We have been talking about getting a companion for Lola and mommy thinks we found the perfect dogs.  Miss Cindy raises a kind of dog called a Meremma Sheep dog and she picked out a little boy that will be a perfect match for Lola.  She brought him over a few times so they can meet and they seem to get along really well.  We also got to go to her ranch to visit one of her dogs that recently had puppies!  11 little wiggly babies that were so cute. 

Maddox:
The air is getting colder and the leaves are changing color.  I have welcomed fall simply because I know that Christmas is getting closer.  As soon as the air turned crisp I started asking when Christmas was going to be here!  Mommy kept reminding me that we had Halloween and Thanksgiving first, but regardless, I am ready!
The other day we played a fun trick on daddy and used a bunch of sisters hair chalk to paint the goats all kinds of fun colors.  Kevin was the most fun to paint because he is white, but Larry was a good sport too!  
As Maren mentioned, we are back at Motion Matrix.  I wasn't really wanting to go but mommy started me in a new class called Mini Ninjas.  Now I am in the same room as sissy and get to do a lot of the fun things she is doing.  I think it is pretty fun!
One good thing about October is Halloween!  Even though I am super excited for Christmas to be here I was pretty stoked about Halloween. Mommy and sissy bought me an army costume and I was so excited! Sister dressed up like a cowgirl looked pretty cute too!
