Happy Birthday America! Once again for the 4th we stared the day at the parade in Central Point. Nonna and Nonno set out chairs for us the day before so we had seats in a place with shade. Mommy did some face painting, we decked ourselves in red, white, and blue and had lots of fun!
After the parade we spent the day with Nonna and Nonno. Mama Chewy invited us over to swim in her pool but the water was so cold we only played on top in the floaties she had. We spent the day relaxing, taking a nice long nap, and then set off some fireworks out in the street.
Maddox:
I loved going to the parade... there were tons of tractors and big trucks to look at, so I was happy! The day at Nonna's was fun and filled with yummy treats, nice naps and fun times. We had a great fire works show out on the road... Jake (Nonna's neighbor) had all kinds of fancy and slightly illegal stuff that he shot off for our enjoyment. Even with all of the big ones, I think my favorites were just the little snappers that I got to throw on the ground myself! Because Nonna and Nonno live so close to the fairgrounds we also got to watch the big show right from their front yard.
