Look out Disney... We're here!

Maren:
It is finally here!  We are finally at Disneyland!  We have been talking about this for what seems like forever now and I am so excited!
Our trip started out really early one morning... mommy and daddy woke me up around 3:00 in the morning because we had to make a 6:00 flight.  Both Maddox and I did really well despite the short night sleep because mommy had put us to be early the night before.  We slept in the clothes we would wear on the plane so we could sleep up until the very last minute... then out the door we went!  The plane ride was really fun, and I got to meet the pilot.  Then we had a short taxi ride to our hotel.  When we checked in a really nice man upgraded our room to a suite!  We ended up with three separate bedrooms which meant I got one all to myself!  Even though it was decorated in a "Cars" theme, I still loved it.  I slept on the top bunk of the bunk beds and felt very grown up!
We spent the first day down in California just resting from our trip and hanging out by the pool.  We were in bed pretty early the first night so we could rest up for all of the adventures ahead.
Our first day in the parks we spent at Disneyland.  We were up early with a good breakfast and were at the gates when the park opened.  After a few rides right off the bat, mommy and daddy surprised me with a trip to the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique for a late birthday present!  My very own Fairy Godmother in training escorted me to the boutique where I got to pick out a brand new princess dress (I chose Snow White) and tiara.  Then, after I changed into my new dress, I was escorted into a salon chair where my Fairy Godmother did my hair, applied beautiful makeup and did my nails.  When they pulled back the curtain for my big reveal, the mirror sparkled and I smiled so big!  I looked just like a princess!  Then, came the very best part of the whole experience!  Another Fairy Godmother escorted me to the Royal Hall, walked me right past all of the other people waiting in line, where I got to meet Cinderella, Ariel, and Snow White in person!! I even had a picture that I had colored to give to Ariel and she loved it!
After we visited the Royal Hall we went to see a show about Beauty and the Beast.  I watched the show right up front, then waited patiently after it was over.  My patience resulted in a personal meeting with Belle!  She was so beautiful in her yellow dress and she complimented me on mine, too.  She warned me to watch out for Gaston!  I thought she was very funny!
After a nice nap, we spent the rest of our first day riding rides and checking out Fairytale land.  Then, it was time for the "Soundsational Parade" down Main Street.  We set our blanket out so we had a nice front row position but a nice man took us to a special VIP seating area instead.  We got VIP treatment for the parade and a ride pass that allowed us to walk right on to four rides of our choice, then we got to go back for VIP seating for the firework show!  It was so amazing!  The fireworks went off right over our heads!  We definitely ended our first night with a bang!

Maddox:
Though I'm not sure what the hub-bub is all about... I'm sure having fun!  Waking up at 3:00 in the morning was a bit rough for me but I bounced out of it pretty fast.  I was a bit wiggly on the plane and didn't really want to sit still so mommy and daddy did laps up and down the aisles with me to keep me happy.  Once we got to the hotel I was ready to go and pretty excited to get into the pool and hot tub.  We spent our first night in Downtown Disney having dinner and walking around.  I loved all of the musicians playing music and did my share of dancing!  Lots of people stopped to watch my moves...
Our first day in the park was mostly about my sissy.  She got pretty spoiled at the boutique, but it was just her birthday and I was happy with it.  We did get to ride a bunch of rides that I could go on... Our first ride of the day was Snow Whites Scary Adventures.  It was definitely pretty spooky and loud, I tried to cover my ears the whole time and as soon as it was over I looked right at mommy and said... "WOW" (and not really in a good way!).  We also rode the Carousel, Dumbo, Peter Pan, the Tea-Cups (which I HATED!), It's a Small World (which I LOVED), and a bunch more.  Fairytale Land was definitely a good place for us to hang out and we spent a large part of our day there.
The Parade was lots of fun to watch, though I definitely don't like the characters very much.  They are fine as long as they stay far away from me and don't get in my face!  I also really liked the fireworks, but holy cow!  They were super loud and a bit scary since they were so close!
