Back to School in Real Life

Back in January I had a great time attending the birth of a litter of puppies at the ranch of our good friend Cindy.  The other day mommy, Maddox and I got to go and visit the ranch and play with the pups.  They were about 6 weeks old when we went and little balls of fluff!  Cindy also had a couple of baby goats and lambs that that we got to cuddle while we were there. 

As Maddox mentions below, school is finally opening up, and we are finally able to go back.  I got to have my first in person day and it was great!  I absolutely LOVE my teacher Ms. Van Blom... she is funny and kind, and we get along so well.  I have made a few really great friends, Amelia and Emmie.  Amelia is definitely a kindred spirit.  We have been able to have a few play dates together and her mom let her stay the night at our house!  

Mommy went on her annual girls trip this month.  Unfortunately, international travel to Mexico was a bit sketchy due to the Covid restrictions so she and the girls decided to go to Texas.  She and Miss Paige flew down to Galveston Island and Auntie C's met her there.  Miss Andrea and Aunt Kristy couldn't go this year which was a major bummer but it sounds like mommy still had a really good time.  She and Auntie C's even ran a 1/4 Marathon while she was there and mommy rand the whole way!  Before her trip she went to get a manicure and pedicure and I got to go along too!  

Maddox: 

In February, Nonna and Nonno got their Covid vaccines which meant that we were able to get out and do a bit more with less worry.  The numbers have been lower in the county and our schools were finally able to open up for in person learning.  I finally got to have my very first day of in person school and I was so excited!  Unfortunately sister and I have to go back on separate weeks, so we can't be there together, but I am still pretty stoked to be back.  I have two boys in my class that I already know, Jasper and Xavier Clelland, but I quickly made a new friend.  Chase is my new bestie and is just like me!  We even dress the same in leggings and shorts.  Our mommies just roll their eyes and laugh at us!  Having a friend has made school even more fun for me.  

March 17th is Wyatts birthday but we were busy for his actual celebration.  One day mommy had him come over to play and we all made cupcakes and decorated them to help him celebrate!  

A big event... I learned how to swing!  Just like a big boy, I can pump my legs and get the swing to move all on my own!  I was so proud of myself!

One weekend while daddy was at work mommy, sister and I had a little movie/slumber party.  Its a special treat that we often do while he's at work.  Snuggle time on mommy's bed while we watch a movie is super fun and then we follow it by having a slumber party in our tents on the floor.  A true highlight for us! We also had a little dress up time where sissy and I pretended to get married!  We dressed up in our fanciest clothes and had a great time pretending to be husband and wife!
