Disneyland Magic

Maren:
Ever since we returned from our trip to Disneyland just after I turned 5 we have been talking about going again.  Everything about Disneyland is magic and mommy and I couldn't wait to get back!  Well, it finally happened!  Because we had so much fun last time we went mommy and daddy planned the vacation just like before... we spent 5 full days in the park bookended by a day of relaxation and pool fun and then a day sandwiched in the middle for more of the same.  That gave us plenty of time in the parks to explore everything we wanted to, to see all of the shows, ride all of the rides and eat all of the food we could!  It was perfect!
We stayed at a new hotel this time because the one we had stayed in before was closed.  But, Maddox and I didn't skip a beat and made ourselves right at home!  Our hotel this time was like a little house... we had a full kitchen and living room so that mommy could cook some of our meals.  They also served us breakfast every morning which mommy really appreciated too!
My favorite ride once again was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad... I think we actually rode that thing at least 20 times and I could have done it more.  I rode a few things this time that I didn't get to do before, like Space Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, and Indiana Jone's ride (I wasn't a big fan of that one for sure).
Unfortunately while we were there Cinderella's Castle was being renovated so we didn't get to see it.  Mommy and I were pretty bummed about that but Disney made up for it for sure!  With their fireworks show they displayed a laser light show on the front of the castle (it was all covered in a canvas) and it was really spectacular.  It was easily the best fireworks I have ever seen! We also got to see the night show "Fantasmic" two times while we were in Disneyland.  The second time we got super up front tickets because we had dinner at one of the restaurants in the park.  I really loved that show because all of the princesses and their princes were in it!
Our last day in the park was probably the best overall.  For the morning I wore my Belle costume and got to have a one on one encounter with Mickey.  We shared some pretty special moments and he made me feel like a real princess when he kissed my hand!  I love him so much! In the afternoon I wore the new Captain Marvel costume that mommy and daddy had bought for me.  I felt like a superhero and got lots of attention!

Maddox:
Even though I didn't remember Disneyland from our last trip I sure was excited to go!  And, I would have to say that it met all of my expectations!  Since mommy and daddy really worked hard to make the trip special for Maren last time they really went out of their way to make sure I got to do just what I wanted this time.  Don't worry, sissy wasn't left out!  I just got to have a lot more input in things this time!  And, I was big enough to ride most of the rides which was great.  I loved Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Radiator Springs Racers, Mater's Tractor Ride, Soarin', and Peter Pan.  Obviously Autopia was on the top of my list too since I got to actually drive the car all by myself!
I loved California Adventure because of Cars Land!  I got to meet Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Red!  We had our pictures taken with all of them.  I also really liked their light show World of Color.  Mommy and daddy got us some special seats for that after we had a really nice dinner in the park one night.  We were super close and even got a bit wet from the water splashing on us!  I loved all of the lights on the water and thought it was really cool when they set the water on fire!
Our last day in Disneyland was super spectacular because I wore my Captain America costume!  I ran around like I owned the place and got lots of attention!  Everywhere I went people and cast members would stop to salute me!  Many people would say "Captain America, thank you for your service!"  I felt so special!!
Before we headed home this time we went on a super fun adventure to the beach.  Mommy and daddy packed us up for the day and we rode a bus for about an hour to get there.  We saw some super colorful people on the way for sure!  When we got there we played for a bit and then had milkshakes and fries at a restaurant on the pier.  It was a fun way to spend our last day.
