The Holiday season is here, mommy is feeling better, and is starting to feel like winter around here!
Daddy got back from elk hunting the day before Thanksgiving and Pica and Grammie showed up the very same night! I was pretty excited to wake up Thanksgiving morning and find a house full of people!
We had a really nice, relaxing weekend over Thanksgiving with lots of good food and fun adventures. Friday after Thanksgiving it was a bit rainy and cold but mommy got us all bundled up and got us outside for some yard work. With Pica's help, we cleaned up all of the fall decorations in the yard. Then, on Saturday we all worked as a team to help put up some Christmas lights in the yard. Usually we hang them on the house but mommy decided that idea was silly since we can't see them! I love the lights in the yard... they make it so pretty! One of the nights while Pica and Grammie were here we bundled up and went to a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Grants Pass. The morning after Thansgiving I woke up and guess who was back??? Sparkle!!! She is back to her normal silly shenanigans already!
The following weekend mommy, Maddox and I had a slumber party at Nonna and Nonno's house. We all went to a light parade and tree lighting in Central Point. It was cold but really pretty! Daddy came home early from his hunting trip and surprised us so he got to stay over too!
Maddox:
Even though I won't remember this holiday season again this year I really like everything that is going on. I had lots of fun with my Pica at Thanksgiving... he thinks I am funny! And I really like his beard!
Mommy taught me how to say Santa with my hands... just like sissy used to. Even though I like to look at him, I don't want to go anywhere near him! Mommy has our house all decorated like a Winter Wonderland and it is really pretty. I really love the lights and how sparkly they are. When they are turned off I will say... "Shhh! Lights! Sleep!" I loved the light parade because they had tractors and veh-vehs all covered in lights! There was even a boat all lit up with lights!
